Buckley new captain , mark calkin from new Zealand ! Little medium pacer , also keeps and a handy bat !! Good mates with kuru!!
I played against him in new Zealand , loves a drink so will fit in well their !!!

They also chasing a ex Nz first class player who is moving to Geelong for work from Nz !!!

The league is getting stronger every year!!

Did batchy play turf 1 last year ??? How did he go ? He plays in my league back home and goes well.

Snakepit loses one of its vipers (he's big, SL and opens the bowling on the off chance that he's fit). He'll now be nesting with the northerners as capt'n/coach.

 Speaking of the snakepit, I wandered in there last season and though I had stumbled into a day release joint -- couldn't believe the tattoed flesh on display. A wonder there was enough ink left for the scorer.
