Well he is from Berwick he played in the 1st XI for a while and is a good bowler and would be a superstar in that crappy league. He is a good clubman, the life of the party would be a good way of putting him.


Probably the only positive thing you will hear on this thread.

If this Goodes bloke is who I think it is, he's a bum. He's regularly seen to be picking up smoke butts in the smokers area at the Berwick pub and searching the bins for TAB tickets. I heard Berwick moved him on because he was swooping on blokes stubbies when they went to the toilet.

Probably a decent bloke if you put all that aside.

BBank.... hate to say it but your probably right.

Not too sure about him being a superstar in the WGCA as there's some handy cricketers there.....mind you i'm pretty sure Goodsey would think he was.

Forklift, im yet to play against this self proclamied cricketing legend, but eagrly await him

ive got mates who played against him the other week, where he tried to intimidate juniors, claimed he was too good for the WGCA and that he is too quick, and that he would lvoe to bat against these park cricketers

now come on, the guy sounds like a total knob, i cant wait 4 weeks to play him, i cant stand him already

was he like this in the DDCA, r does he think hes stepped down that he is now one of the big fish in the sea

look at his figures after he plays Koo Wee Rup or Cardinia and thatyll show you how good a bowler he is

He is a decent bowler, and in the WGCA he will be one of the elite players. But the WGCA isnt exactly full of talent. Well if they are playing in the first XI there is nothing wrong with intimidating them, if they cant take it they shouldnt be in playing in the grade. Now if they were playing in the 3rd's or 4th's then there would be no excuse for intimidating them. How did the young guys go? It sounds like your mate has a case of sour grapes. Or is just soft/weak in general.
