Any chance of play?

How did everyone go with covers today? Everyone still a chance to play tomorrow? There is some interesting games set up at the minute, would be a shame to see a washout.....although some members of this forum may disagree!

Before anyone else gets in...........yes we should be right, i'll just pack a broom for our game. Might wash the chalk away though...

Can't say I would be too disappointed if these winds blow our covers away!

what does parkfield do? their 2nds who play our seconds tomorrow only need 30 more runs, with 3 wickets in hand. do they cover the pitch and get the win but then it presumably makes the pitch pretty good for the 1's chase on sunday or not cover it till later, possibly lose their 2nds and give more life to the pitch on sunday which would help their 1's win?

maybe they will just be good people and put the covers down as early as possible and the best teams win!

they could cover it early tonight and then just water it tomorrow night also...

I am too cynical for my own good.

Covers down well and truly before the rain at Harold Rd. Not put down in time at Warner for our Turf 4 game V Narre Nth and also told by Ray that covers hadn't been put down at Park for our Turf 2 game V Buckley.
