i'm not sure but RUMOUR has it that a certain player wants to bat on a wicket that bounces and has a bit of pace and has only seen one deck in the DDCA that has that.
Apparently he is a back foot player and has played a total of about 10 shots on the back foot in his entire career in the DDCA and 8 came last season at Harold Rd!
So the request has gone in and apparently agreed too!!!

Any Truth?

Slocs impressive effort by your lads today, WPerumal batted hard for his runs but just couldn't get going.

Will you boys look for a early decleration, or with finals around the corner is it more important to get some hits into some lads starved of opportunities.
At my old mob we had a similar situatuion approaching finals.

wendall tried hard but looked like a guy that had the skill but was out of practice. bole brown bowled beautifully to him early until he strained his hammy but young tim for picked the bit up and kept him more than honest. against a good side we played really well.

To win on week one by 10 wickets is always a great effort no matter the opponets.
Sitting a game and % on top means you have the luxury of winning 1/2 to retain top spot.
I guess bat on untill tea and get some runs into guys who have been less required with the bat this year so you can hit finals with good batting deepth with guys having scores under the belt.
Out rights are rare and no need to slog your bowlers when not needed have a early day next week would be my thoughts how do you see it.
