Doveton VS Keysborough

Doveton all out for 86 chasing 88, i cant believe this. keysborough won the toss and batted first so I am pretty sure it had nothing to do with the pitch.

WTF ! Surely it was a dodgy wicket but the Burrah could be on the march never the less.
Buckley must have been an absolute road 380 odd runs in the day amazing, and Thomsy 5 fa, well done mate.

I don't know if the players were but I was, wouldn't you if you rolled a team by tea on day 1

Had i won the toss i would have bowled. The outfield was slow the wicket was slow but had alot more grass on it than expected. Smokey was still rolling and marking the wicket before play started. The Doveton bowlers moved the ball around as well as the keysy bowlers. The wicket didn't change much throughtout the day. But Doveton in the middle order put on an important partnership that could of nearly won the game for them. A lot of pressure on both sides. Andrew Staude bowled well for Keys, but i think Hutchy was on a hatrick 3 times. He did bowl well but there were delivers that hit the deck and took off and you think how do you play that. Although it was low scoring it was interesting days play.

Mark my words. The only reason Harry started in A grade was that he had a football trip away the following weekend. Other wise he would have opened the bowling with me. As he did last year.

so you thought the game was over? they made 88, we gonna go out there and smash them, 300 for 2 and then put them back in. interesting

RAPC my point is that doveton took it very easy and they thought they had 10 points in the bag. i heard they were even talking about the 10 points and how it will get them to the top of the ladder.

Heard a rumour that Andrew Chapman is out for about 6-8 weeks, went in to have a clean-out of his knee and the doctors found more damage

Talked to him and he didn't say how long but the knee surgery is definitely correct

i dont understand the DDCA allowing any games to go ahead.. If all turf games are called off then thats exactly what it should be.. Now Keysy have to chance to take away 10 points as they have 2 days to do it whereas for the other teams playing in a one dayer next week none of us have a chance of that.. so how is that fair? who actually makes the decisions to call certain games off and allow 2 out of maybe 25 or 26 turf games to be played? wat a joke.. ive never been sunburnt in 32 degree heat watching the 3rds coz we've been washed out..

I would have thought the question to be asking is: Why couldn't we just put the covers down on Thursday night, with rain predicted on Friday? Then every game would have been underway............

Sunshine and heat all week, bar half of one day and we get washed out. It's laughable.

Next thing it will be January and we won't be playing because of the heat!
