Just wanted to mention that we are now 2-0 up in the 20/20 fixtures against the supposed DDCA powerhouse.

Without wanting to cause trouble you blokes came across as disinterested and a little bit amateurish. I really think there is not too much difference between the leagues and we are probably proving the stronger at the minute. Modesty aside we looked more professional and were a much better unit than what the DDCA appeared, with the scoreline proving that point. We didnt even have our best side in.

Given the results we are going to propose that Dandenong District play West Gippy in a annual game as we would provide a better contest that is closer to the standard of District Cricket.

Well done to all my boys who played in todays game.

It's easy not to care after you lose. Please dont get me wrong I dont want to start a slinging match but we were streets ahead of you guys today. I was actually really surprised at how easy we won. Is the standard in the DDCA dropping or are we just getting stronger? Players like the quality of Goodes and myself have seen a lot of cricket and think we are now the strongest local comp.

I think the WG boys feel like they have something to prove because they are labeled a weaker comp than the DDCA. Just my opinion that the DDCA boys probably don't take it as seriously.

Sobers in all seriousness, we probably do care a bit more about the result as we are a team that plays together quite a bit throughout the year. We have another 3 matches that we play together before country week actually begins, so in a year we can play up to 9 matches as a team and we generally keep the same squad. It would have a lot to do with the result this year and last in these 20/20's.

Seriously Billy, when do you think this will ever happen? It was hard enough for you blokes to come up with 11 players for a 20/20 on a Sunday, how do you think you would go getting 11 for a 90 over per side match? Not going to happen mate.

Oh and by the way, last years game was on turf and we won that one too...

Moose, what do you think of the whole Beaver saga? Do you think he was mistreated on here and what do you think of him as a cricketer/person?
