Just like to say well done to Brendon Wilson yesterday who got us out of a huge hole yesterday (with Jeff Thom) and gave us a chance of a first win of the season. The wicket looked an absolute shocker - there was grass an inch long on it! We lost the toss and were put in and were soon 22-4 then about 70-6 at tea. After tea, Brendon and Jeff batted the whole session putting on 150. Thomsy made a chanceless 97* and 15 year old (or maybe just 16 now) Brendon made 59*
I know we don't hear much about MMCC now Beav has left but it was a tremendous effort from these 2. If myself and the other bowlers can do the biz next week, we just might get up and running!
Awesome effort from those two Goochy.. hope you and Molds can bowl em to victory next week.
We are 3/63 overnight chasing Hampton Park's 128. Bowled really well but dropped a few chances probably should have had them for under 100. They had us 3/13 early on and we were in some strife but managed to settle the ship going into stumps. Game on next week.
Thomsy would've had to be due Goochy. Half way through the season and no big score...very unthomsy like. Surely he could've ilked out another 3 runs though.

Goochy, It will be a duck for Brendan this coming saturday morning
Yeah well done to Brendan on his 1stX1 debut 50, I may have not done alot to help MM in my 1 year there but i am happy that i gave this kid who was 14 at the time the opportunities to showcase his ability in Turf2 despite playing no higher then 3rds the previous year. He has developed through nothing but his own hard work and is a delightful young chap who i have no doubt will one day end up on a district list somewhere. Well done Tim Paine
