I had a discussion with someone who brought up Clarke avg when Australia make 400+ is far greater then when they make under 400. Some players perform better under pressure better then others and that is my gripe against Haddin so i did some homework.......now make of it what you will.

Well when your on holidays Kiwi and can't get up and about to much and are resting up you need to find things to do to pass time. SO far i have played to much Poker, watched to many Movies, watched alot of cricket fair to say i am bored ****less
Took a nice catch today to get the boys going, I don't see anyone else ready to step in yet Beav..
Haddin is the number one man at the moment with Tim Paine catching up........i don't have a problem with him playing in the test side, i just want people to see when the game is on the line he fails for his country.....yes he is a very good wicket keeper bat but plays his best when we are 3-300 or 4-400 etc etc
I would've thought his main priority was been a keeper 1st and bat 2nd. He should be coming in at 4-400 if the bats do their job and have some what of a license with the willow. Scrutiny should fall on his keeping and if that starts to drop off then look for a replacement but untill then, leave it. We and world cricket was blessed with Gilly and the way he changed the face of been just a keeper who can bat a little. Remember Ian Healy? Is Haddin really that much different to him with the Kookaburra?

Fair good response Rocky.......but unfortunately the days of a specialist wicket keeper have gone. Dhoni, Sankagarra, McCullum, Prior........more is expected of Wicket keepers today they are basically looked at been required to be a all rounder effectively allowing sides to play the extra bat/bowler. No doubt Gilly was a one off, but he will be considered a all rounder which is what national selectors look for these days.
