Rocky's Wine of Choice

Available only at 1st Choice liquor stores, the Hardys Cellar Release range cannot be beaten at this price point. It consists of 2 wines.

A Cabernet blend of a S.A. (mainly Coonawarra fruit) and Margaret River and a Shiraz blend of Mc Claren Vale and Adelaide Hills. Both well and truely over deliver for their price point which is 2 bottles for $20.

If you like red wine or have some presents to buy for mates, I can honestly vouch for this as I have tried it.

Get on board....

Both 9's Persuader. The Shiraz is good drinking now as is the Cabernet but due to the tannin structure in the Cab, it will cellar nicely for 6-8 years and develop some nice aged characters.

Hows your collection going? You still got some of the gold bottles left?

I'm a big Brown Brothers fan carrot. Seems to beat everything we have on offer back home. Pick any one from about 5.

You obviously like your sweeter style wines ie Moscato, Spatlese Riesling etc... Try Banrock Station Moscato or the Pink Moscato or the Banrock Station Crimson Cabernet. Same style of wine as the BB just half the price.

Also you should find the Banrock range at any Tesco back home.

All Saints Sweet Angelina at about $13 a bottle  is sweet, spritzy, unpretentious and packed with zesty fruit,  perfect for parties, and outdoor entertaining.

Might be able to buy in Dan Murphy's. Goochy

Cabernet, Shiraz, Chardon...always get 'em mixed up. I hate it when the fella at the liqour store asked me which one i want. Usually one dry red for me and a sweet white for the missus.
