Was talking to a mordi local down at the st kilda fest today who said and i quote" big chance of dov gaining big % next game because the mordi guys really are not interested in next weeks game and just want the season to end"
 
i hope for the game of cricket mordi dont just lie down and end up having a say on the final four.

With Beavers batting performance this season how would you know if he has thrown h is wicket next week? Not like a another single digit score is likely to raise any eyebrows.

Sir you know better mate then to play silly games, tell me this individuals name so i can pick 11 players who care and want to win. Our motivation will be to end the Doves finals chances and to end up on 33pts for the year a decent 1st year up in the top flight.

I dont play games and if you read my post it was a local mordi guy I was speaking to who happens to know a couple of guys at mordi,  I never said he was a player.

you wouldnt have thought it will make any difference to SSCC as im sure they will whoop Coomorra's ASS and collect a decent whack in percentage themselves, with finals possibly hinging on percentage will most teams with a sniff now play out the overs or pull up stumps when either side has won ????? if so then it begs the question why not do it all year instead of in the last few games when it gets a bit tight ??

Could point Max.........would it be fair to say that both SSCC & Doveton will be looking to bowl 1st this week and then come out an be aggresive/positive with the bat?

I agree with Woofa. Very tight. I wouldn't be suprised to see Buckley beat Parkfield, leaving those two, SSCC and the Doves on the same points. I'd then expect the Doves and the Bloods sneak into 3rd & 4th.

Although you'd be stiff to go from 3rd to 5th or 6th in the last round.

Might do me some travelling this week !

Sell it to the mrs that there is a beach and some nice cafes on the mordi main street 5 mins away.........then on the way drop the 'oh you wont mind if we watch some local cricket' lol
