Attended the WGCA Premier GF over the weekend. Seems Beacy are ahead of everyone..By far the best ground and facilities. First class effort hosting the GF and another example of where the WGCA appears ahead of the DDCA.

Sorry...In fairness, the Berwick Vs Buckley (Semi-Final) game was well hosted.

One thing they certainly did better was the radio coverage. The commentators at the WGCA grand final actually spoke about the game and not about themselves or topics that had no relevance to the game. Very professional IMO.

ha ha good Sir, it appears it was all one big boys club.......it was that bad that i had to switch over to Fox and listen to Hamish and Andy re runs. Some of lads would of been better suited down Lygon st relaxing over a Latte then boring us to death about how good such and such is as a umpire etc etc

Easy boys. Just an observation on the GF, that's all. Mind you, I think the days are well gone when the DDCA ruled the roost! Moving forward I can see a revamped comp namely the Casey-Cardinia Cricket Assoc being developed which would certainly show case the depth and talent within the region. Sorry to some of the Dandenong clubs but the simple fact is, there is no future for some of you.

Fair effort by a spinner to bowl 40 overs and get 6/93.  Sounds like he got a lot of wickets at the end but still a great effort.

Commentary was far better than the DDCA who spend half the time talking crap and not even commentating.  Having a lot of different players in there for a stint was a good idea.

He is a talented bowler. That comp seems to have several talented cricketers.

9 out of the 12 contested senior GF were won by Dandenong based club this year  and in the last 10 years the T1 flag has being won 7 times by a Dandenong based club
Furthermore 7 teams in T1 are Dandenong based

Jake don't bring facts and a reasonable debate to the table. It will just confuse him.
Just a question legal aid, if beacy have the best ground and are in the best comp, why are they trying to get off that ground and move into the ddca??

Beacy will stay in the WGCA but are keen or getting a turf pitch. Council is builiding 3-4 new grounds up the road for cricket and footy. I think the cricket club is hoping to footy club will move up the road.

Thats one of the best cricket grounds i have played on, great surface and great atmosphere for a game.

Easy foghorn, i was not talking about your stint on the radio i was not tuned in to it.
I was talking about the DDCA lads rabbiting on you goose, have a cup of Horlicks and calm the hell down. Otherwise you will need a bigger pen to strut in.

i think devon meadows play in the wgca on a turf pitch at the cranny race track sheepy, they probably just like the idea of it
