Listening to sen 1116 today and their going on about a Doveton eagles footy club getting banned from the comp. Is this the same club as the cricket club or totally different?

I think the whole club has being suspended, write up in the Sun about it this morning

Definitely the whole club, but a lot of it was due to the coach's attitude towards umpires apparently.

Prince as past player and Best and Fairest winner at the Eagles, do you feel at all responsible for the demise of your former club? I mean, the year you won the club B&F you were also clearly the comp B&F but your complete lack of respect for umpires including abusing them and spitting at a boundary umpire no doubt cost you.
I just wonder are any of the current players caught up in the furore some of the ones as kids who used to run around with the number 8 on their back? Surely a little guilt.
