But it is a fair whack as a member to pay $270 to go to the Grand final alone let alone pay $270 the following week as well.

And to rub salt into the rooms the Afl/Tickettek once tickets are paid online the only mode of collecting them is a visit to tickettek to collect them were you are charged $7.20 to collect the tickets for fark sake!!

There is no option to print tickets on line or even to mail (understandbly given the postage turn aorund time)

But the Afl is a joke and the way it is run, Demetriou is all about putting his head on the TV and leaving his mark on the game so people will remember him the egotistical fat arrogant slime ball. The game is no longer and has been for some time about the people it is all about $$$$$ and revenue!!

Beav has a fair point. It is a lot of money to go to a game and to have to find that sort of cash again seems a bit unfair. A result on the day is what we pay for. Having to go back on line and wait to see if you can get a ticket in itself can be as boring as watching paint grow.

My missus is in charge of Events and Marketing at her work, part of her job is to book tickets on line. She was only saying the other day how boring that part of the job is, but she did get rewarded with a seat in the superbox on Saturday for the GF, which is better than a poke in the eye with a stone in a glass house.

Exactly Rocky, that's what i said to her. She thinks she will be offered tickets again but i told her not to count all her eggs in one basket before the chicken hatches, that way she won't get let down like a tonne of lead balloons if it doesn't eventuate.
