DOVES v MORDI - It really was a miracle for this mob to even get to 147 with the turf3 outfit they really have. The sacking of Ernst really has hurt them but the loss of the figjam clan means at least their all mates now. Spanner is a star and a certain finalist may win this outright because mordi fall over quicker than figjam's misses after 2 breezers. Doves outright

HALLAM v NTH DANDENONG - Nth Dandy are the kangaroos of the ddca. They can all do a little of everything but good at nothing. The fact they have 9 captains and in-fighting means Hallam has more than enough because not 1 player from the northeners will even knock up 200 for the year. Hallam win

PARKFIELD V NARRE WARREN - This is the clash of the 2 biggest farkbag leaders in the comp, Spoljaric and Jarrett.Parkfield is a chance to beat relegation(Narre) outright if coach knobhead doesnt bowl his ranga's from 1 end all day. How this bloke thinks he can bowl is beyond me, but the man can bat. Parkfield win and Narre Warren will get relegated.

KEYS v D.WEST - Or West Coast v Tigers, nobody cares. Keysy are hopeless and are lucky that Narre are still in turf1 but even the sun shines on a dogs a ss some days.

ST MARYS v BERWICK - Not much to be said here apart from Berwick winning outright. Team full of stars but their lack of bowling depth will come to the fore when it matters. Word is there is no closer team on and of the field and this may have something to do with the sh it blokes that have left(or been told services no longer needed) over the past couple of seasons. Yes u, Roberts u polesmoker. As for the coach, please have the courage to drop yourself.

BUCKLEY v SPRINGVALE STH - Its only taken until xmas to find out that Buckley are gone. With their pop gun attack and a worse skipper than Ponting they cant bowl any decent sides out. Even when the chucker comes back it will not matter. The Best player the comp has seen will take the bloods to at least the final. Tim Ford is already become a more reliable allrounder than the over price Law ever was. Also if Buckley could serve some cold beer it would go some way to improving your venue.

I have no idea what Danny Law got out of the bloods, but in his four years there were 4 grand finals for three titles. You must have a different definition of overpaid than me.

i am with you GDL ,2300 runs and 112 wickets thought that would be a win/win situation

Works out to $31 a run and $167 a wicket. Is that value for $?.

Could of feed the struggling population of somalia for 3 years for the money he was heard to be on.

Yeh and Roberts credability holds up here. Left every club he has been at with outstanding bills and fines. . . .maggot!

That's total rubbish. Alex has never said he was on that much. Nowhere near.

Don't want to get into an arguement about what was paid and who reckons what.
But he is a professional cricketer who has played County cricket  surely what he was paid was in relation to his ability unlike some of the lesser known's that have come to this comp and demanded big money for lesser of a return
