Lone Boy,

did you ever see Myer Bowl?

How could you pick Ferguson over say Pattinson and Arter? Ferguson was an average trundler when compared to the others.

I understand you picking players that you have seen but be consistent

Others that were close would be Pete Lindsay, Jude Fernando, Danny Law, Greg Hammond(won the Turf 1 bowling averages two years in a row from memory in the mid 90s)

goblin , the question was pick the top ten you played against
and meyer was still opening the bowling my first turf1 game and although it was at the end of his career he was still scary, only played darts once and never played patto. hope that clears everyting up for you.

Too hard to bloody pick. Top 3 bowlers faced would be Walton carr Meyer. Best 3 bats seen would be j Hammond and 2 others

I could name the top 10 players I played against, but none of you would ever have heard of them, they all played A grade or below!

John Hammond
Steve Chapman
Craig Slocombe
Rob Walton
Mick Hawking
Richard Hammond
Cory Booth
Gary Davidson
Greg Hammond
Wayne Ewing

Would be the best 10 I have watched play at Hallam, in no particular order. Greg is often left out when discussing the Hammond brothers, possible because he didnt play as long, but was a terrific bowler. I have heard many at Hallam talk about how highly they rate him. I only saw Hawk and Wayne towards the end, but both were as good as any at their chosen disciplin.
