Renaming Of Clubs

Heard a certain club has requested a Special General Meeting about a proposed name change.

The name change has become necessary so  that the club is more identifiable with that area they are in and its is hoped that by doing this it will attract more members from the local area.

Letters have gone out to all members and life members of the up coming meeting.

As Goochy says" MMCC will never be the same again "

mmmmm...interesting. I wonder if the same fellas who are still around at the club will try to block it again. The idea was mooted proir to the move and got knocked back.

Yep...that was pretty much the suggestion.Horse has bolted a bit by now. Better late than never they reckon and the late in this instance is about 6 years.
