They should have played the 2 Semi's and the Granny on the same day.

Picture this...

Park Oval or Casey Fields = Venue

on a Sunday

Both Semi's start at 11am (if at Park, then one on Buckleys ground and one on Dandy 3s ground)

Then the 2 winners play off in the Granny starting at 3pm on Shepley.

No problems with light and would be a cracking day for the competition.

Thoughts?

It'll be at Archie surely!

That's a whole Sunday though Terrible. Isn't the idea of T20 to make it short and sharp? Plus I reckon you get more to the mid-week fixtures as blokes just tell there missus they're working late....

I know what your saying but it only inconveniences 22 blokes. A lot from both clubs would come for the semi's but people from other clubs would just come to the final I'd say.

Good atmosphere and just a good day all round.

I would have loved to have watched the final but finish work in the city at 5pm. I think a lot would be in that boat too.

Just an idea, that's all.

Because it's the Grand Final and it will be a better spectacle. Plus we have more light now at this time of the year.

They're still not full run ups though, still restricted, but to 15 metres instead of 7 or whatever it was.
