Very disappointing run from the big fella at yesterday's Cranbourne Cup meeting. I think the owners should take a fair chunk of the blame for legging up W. Davis, instead of a more senior rider, such as Harry White, Brent Thompson, Stan Aitken or even Wayne Hokai. Just wondering whether this was a deliberate ploy to bolster the odds for its next start.

The white hot c newitt rode a winner for the same trainer as did the ever reliable d Dunn. Either of those jocks would have brought home the chocs.

Noticed a part owner of Galileo Gold has been picked to play C Grade for SSCC tomorrow. I pity the Cranny bowlers when this DDCA legend fronts up.
