G'day gents. Just thought I'd post some information about a new indoor sports complex that has recently opened up in Ferntree Gully (Knoxfield). I know a lot of DDCA clubs like to train indoors over the winter months and during preseason. Eastern Indoor has quality facilities that a lot of locals clubs use as well as a number of clubs involved in the Victorian Premier Crcket. I can't think of any indoor centres that not only allow for batting and bowling, but the possibility of fielding being incorporated into training which eastern indoor can provide. This means you can make the most of your session and not have players standing around doing nothing which happens at other indoor centers! Read on for further details. Hello & Welcome to Eastern Indoor Sports Centre, We are a new multi-sport facility which runs competitions for futsal, indoor soccer, badminton and netball.  We are situated at 1642 Ferntree Gully Rd Knoxfield.  As well as our competitions we also have two cricket nets which we book out to senior and junior cricket clubs and teams.  We have the new Bola Bowling machine which is the machine used by the Victorian Bushrangers at the MCG.   For clubs we offer them the chance to use the Bola machine free of charge during club net hire.  We can also offer the clubs a court to use during training, this way teams can also work on fielding, fitness and catching as well as their nets session. We also offer private coaching for players of all ages and abilities.  Our coaches all play Premier first XI cricket and are all qualified and experienced coaches in their field.  Head coach Peter Dickson who is also centre manager is vice-captain of Fitzroy Doncaster and has played in the state second eleven competition as well spending time in the Bushrangers squad.  Our prices are very competitive and we have different coaching packages available.
