Well, thats the end of the season then. No chance for play on Saturday which means Narre will hang on for a finals spot and Buckley will miss out. Two semi finals will be Doveton V SSCC at Doveton and Berwick V Narre at Berwick. Looking at the long range rain forecast my tip is for rain to completely wash out semi weekend meaning it will be a Doveton V Berwick GF.

I'm penning an open to the league as we speak. Why should a bit of rain wash the 50k we've spent on match payments down the drain. We are Springvale Sth, the leagues most important club and we will not take this without sooking our arses off again. Lucky we're buying Spolly next season and won't have to worry about ladder positions!

Called in to Keysy after we were called off on Saturday and had quite a laugh seeing Slocs and his men fully whited up out warming up in the rain, with the umpires not even in there uniforms or keysy players anywhere to be seen. They haven't been out on the ground warming up that early before a game all year! I think this just goes to show how confident they are of knocking Berwick off and how scared they are of playing Doveton....p.a.t.h.e.t.i.c
