disqualified...??????????
Permalink Closed

My old mob where due to player a 17-1s final today but where disqualified cause they played an u15 player in the semi. Cant work that out i would've thght 15s qualified u for 17s...like c grade qualifys u for b grade.

the kid didnt bat or bowl either.

really feel for the kids and the team managers there.....prob the ddca justing dotting the 'i's and crossing the 't's but it seems wrong.

Some players in a clubs under 15's team would be better than half their under 17's team, that might be the reason you have to qualify

turns out u need a permit. Faark what a load of crap......surely a phonecall to say u havent filled the appropriate paperwork in wqould've surficed. Dont think the permit would've been k nocked back.

well done to the ddca on breaking eleven kids hearts.....they must be proud

Maybe you shouldn't drop a kid who played 17's all year to play a gun 15 ???

FT, they had 11 players round 11. He bowled 8 overs in the semi. Also played turf this season so they obviously rate him.

The coach of the team in question went into the narre north rooms before the grand final to tell the boys there was no ill feelings from the narre south boys or the club and good luck. Really a great gesture i think and all credit to him and the club and congrats to our under 17 boys on winning the flag

my bad slugger......when i looked i did not see his bwlg figure. And played t5 i think sheepy. Nothing agst the lads from Narre North as they can only do what they can do.....but i would've thght after the game once the DDCA realised a permit hadnt been lodged a quick phonecall to get the appropriate paperwork.

And yes congrats to the lads on winning the flag slugger

Why should he be given permission to play even if they follow procedure?
