i know we mostly get on here and take the mickey but congrats to train and the berwick boys on a good win. was another great grand final between us both. the umpires were great as well as the keysey club in hosting. we'll have another crack at it next year.

Have to agree Slocs. Once again both clubs were outstanding in the GF both with the play and with the behaviour. There is genuine respect between both clubs and this is a result of strong on and off field leadership. Personally I think G Train is a pric% for taking that catch and bowling so well, but will forgive him at some time in the future (still contemplating an open letter to try to get the result changed).

On another note I got a text to alert me to comments from another club on their chat forum about both clubs and the Grand Final. Surely some of the more mature senior people down their must be shaking their heads, because some of their members are an absolute embarrassment.

Cheers Slocs. It was another great game between our clubs and a privilege to be a part of. Thanks to all who have sent me messages over the past few days, particularly the many from the bloods, it's much appreciated.

I heard about what was written on the other forum and had a good laugh! Unreal!

Also as Slocs said, Keysy put on a great show. Seems to be getting better every year and the scoreboard was a massive winner I thought.

The wicket was perfect, bit in it for the quicks early and then flattened out to be a road late on both days. Esky full of gatorades for during the game and then full of beers at the conclusion for the players was a nice touch as well. Job well done.

  1. BB, sir, Pringles et al, what juice are you guys on re posts on another chat site. I read em all and they were simply factual commentaries on what transpired during the GF. And the shoe was on the other foot re Boydy's non appearance. I recall  all the shyte heaped on the tennants down the creek when same thing happened to Fletcher last season. What goes around comes around or are the Harold Rd fraternity thin skinned?
  2. The amount of gratious shyte heaped on BRCC in the past two years on this forum is what has been disgusting. Remember the trip allowed on from Gobby and Park Oval Dyke to mention only two. Even the most recent mention from the hassled one, apropos nothing relating to BRCC, shows the unhealthy infatuation with the smallest club in the comp. Get a grip.
