Do you guys from the Cave and Harold Road claim your trip to SL as business from the taxman seening you use it to recruit pro players?

hooli gooli, if the latest Caveman Kamal is one of the two (of five) SL Kamal's listed on Cricket info then the space for full names on DDCA registration forms already severely tested by Jeeva will have to be drastically lengthened.

1. Wilhara Arachchige Kankanamalage Indika (gulp!) Kamal, is a 32-yo cack-hander who also rolls the left arm over as an offie.

2. Suddawadana Huluwalage Buddika Kaml is a 31 y-o right-hander who bowls medium pace and played two first class games for an underwhelming average of 9.0.

Could Sir Gallahad, choo or prickly pring enlighten us about their signing (and prepare K. Crawf, Big Steve and other scorebook scribblers for the onerous task ahead should one of them be tempted, for the hell of it, not to use initials!)?

Gloves, I think you may be mislead by Pringles reference to Kamal. They are not recruiting him to play, but to look after the players ie bags, refreshments, ice, sub fielder. The name you may be after is a well known sri Lankan name....Perera

Tks B&K. Just having fun with names. Another Pudoo (sub-continental fun for Perera) for the DDCA. What's his cricketing pedigree?

Excellent. About 8500 1st class runs and a bit of a leggy. They are a bit quiet at the cave. Maybe he hasn't signed yet. Maybe the 20k isn't enough and he's holding out for more biggrin

Will have to call you Snoopdog with you excellent snooping B&K.

20K should be no problem for the rich folk of Berwick, especially if the great choo choo agrees to halve his package, they'll fund it in one go!

Upon reflection, there's some interesting reading through the early to middle stages of this topic...

Never mind the mo prince, better start growing that afro.

Thanks champ, your kind words mean a lot to me. I was quite happy with my game actually, but thanks for taking the time to look. We won outright. Good result for the club.

Dear Sir,

Work commitments kept me from the game at the Cave tonight. Could you please update the great man's bowling figures that you volunteered in your last post?

Many thanks,

The funbling gloveman
