It is actually quite shocking to see how far your nation has fallen from grace (not just the Olympics but we'll concentrate on that here).

Is anyone actually responsible? Have funds been cut?

WTF is going on with you guys?!?

USA, China & Great Britian have 95% (roughly) of the gold medals, we're the Aussies have 95% of Olympic Village shipment of Durex & are focusing on throwing it about. Word is they have the Gold in the compartment.

Poms need to Start worrying about their own back yard.Good to see the notts boys finally getting some revenge on kp. He should never have left the end of season piss up early in 2004. Must be regretting it now. Hales housemate behind the kp genius twitter account. Getting feed info from the England t20 captain broad and swan. it was a good read while it lasted.

Stump, agree with your sentiments but as to underlined bit, those rapacious thieves won't be feeling silly anytime, not with a $7 BILLION plus profit annpounced today. The figure from their unabated goughing was even higher but figs fudged to keep from giving employers $1000 bonus shares each. Instead they ''generously'' offered $100 instead! Where's the firing squad when you need one.

Interesting that you digress from your problems with your overall sporting show in The Olympics to the current issues with the England cricket team.

Not many would be able to see such a subtle link. Very clever.

Australia as a nation is about one tenth the size of great britain population wise so i would be asking the question with great britains population way outnumbering ours...

One tenth the size? Its about 60 million v 22 million. Interesting math....

The fact of the matter Rob is that Australia as a country is designed for sport! Facilities, weather and a population and lives and breathes competitive action.

You are like an ostrich with your head in the sand.

Someone needs to stop pointing at others and start asking why you are going backwards. There was a time when if we beat you at anything at all there was a huge national celebration. Fck me....remember the MBE's for the 2005 team!!!?
