which they should be and i presume the other team which knocked the Bloods off would be in it also.... Heatherhill or something like that from the Mornington Peninsula wasn't it?

I went down and had a look last night and Lee Brown was by far and away the best bowler of the night. He turned the game so to speak with his offies. Came on late in the Berwick innings when they were cruising at 8 an over with plenty of wickets in hand. Must've taken 3 or 4 wickets for not many off his 4 overs. Corey Booth smashed em early on in Hallam's dig, he can seriously bat that bloke. First time i'd seen him since back in the comp. Also a big dark fella blew the game away late. Don't know his name but was a powerful striker of the ball. Berwick didn't have there best team in but Hallam were very impressive all the same.
Did both sides have close to full strength squads? It suprised me last year and will surprise me again if clubs don't take this competition seriously, as the prize at the end of the day is once in a lifetime!

BB, im sure all sides would take it seriously.. But it must be hard for most teams to field their best as people have work and the start time must be fairly early..

From what i can tell, Berwick took it seriously but also rested a couple of there players and a couple had work commitments so couldn't play. The guys who played certainly wanted to win, they just went in with a fairly thin batting line up. 2 kids from the U17's played and a 12 year old as well. Can't comment on whether Hallam were full strength or not, don't know enough of them. It was fairly entertaining cricket though.
