Probably scared he will stop working behind the bar. A catch went up no more than 10 yards to him at midwicket. He fell in a heap as it approached and it just missed his head.

Sure, it looked funny but it can only end one way eventually.

Haha, I know the one you're talking about.

I went down to sub-field for F Grade Round 1 & while we were batting, he sub-fielded as well and copped a ball smack bang on the knee after it was pole-axed by one our good batsman. Poor bastard could barely walk when coming off!

You could carry him though in your Masters side - I see Geoff Dans was playing. He was a teacher at my school & coached a bit of school cricket. He still goes okay for someone in his early 50's. Gun cricketer.

Jake/Goochy 2 seasons backin 035's i thought he was dead. He was bowling and this bloke absolutely knocked the cover off the ball straight back at him at his head an the last millisecond he gotr his arm in the way.

Norm loves his cricket, i am not sure if he has a partner or not.

He should be given the opportunity to play the game he loves to the day he sadly passes, how someone can rob him of this is not right.

He should play in the Masters
