Goodsey will be a very good player for Officer. The WGCA is short on bowlers but has some very good batsmen moving around. Not sure what you know of the league Blood Bank but doubt he would be considered an elite player, but will be a good honest performer.

Fair to say the WGCA is a long way off turf 1 standard, but I think unless you really know what the standard is better not pretending.

6 runs, if Goodsey got into a few blokes that's cricket, have a yarn after the game and a couple of brews. If what you say is accurate, i.e too quick/good for the comp, he was probably taking the piss a bit and showing some gamesmanship.

Toph, all of which 6 runs has said is totally untrue. I never said anything about being too quick or too good for the comp. The only thing i can relate it to is when we played Merinda Park who had a lot of kids playing and i bowled a bouncer at one of them. There captain yelled out to me that i was a hero for intimidating the kids. I then asked him what time it was 3:30 or 10:30. Mind you this kid was on 50 odd at the time and had batted till just after tea.

That's one that gives me the $hit$. If a kid is playing in his clubs 1st eleven he's even game.

No you didn't 6 runs. You had already formed your opinion. I believe you called me a "self proclaimed superstar" if i am correct. Obviously you believe everything you hear pal. Either that or you play for Berwick and are taking the pi55. As i said, let me know who you are so i can form an opinion of yourself.

By the way, it's Jarrod not Jarred.

Forklift, im yet to play against this self proclamied cricketing legend, but eagrly await him

ive got mates who played against him the other week, where he tried to intimidate juniors, claimed he was too good for the WGCA and that he is too quick, and that he would lvoe to bat against these park cricketers

now come on, the guy sounds like a total knob, i cant wait 4 weeks to play him, i cant stand him already

was he like this in the DDCA, r does he think hes stepped down that he is now one of the big fish in the sea

look at his figures after he plays Koo Wee Rup or Cardinia and thatyll show you how good a bowler he is

Gee 6 runs, that seems to me like you've definitely formed an opinion of me. I'll see you tonight at Country week training i assume. Don't be afraid to introduce yourself.

which i beleive entitles you to some bragging rights.

All sounds good to me Train. Its a great comp mate, they just play a little softer than the DDCA. Loved the call about it being 3.30 not 10.30, which emphasis Princes point, if they are out playing first x1 cricket they should be good enough to handle it. Absolutely no doubt the couple of youngsters from Merinda Park you bounced, can definitiely handle it. They come from good cricketing stocks and will be good players, their folks wouldn't want it any other way.
