That's one of the positives about the pretend stuff, the pitch is always the same.

End of the day, you can't help the weather, Doveton probably would have won regardless of the pitch condition (293 you would take that every week.) Whether the pitch played exactly the same or not, one of the few down sides to turf is one week it can be a belter and the next a pud. At least the covers have gone some way to fixing it.

Parkfield rolled us. We were 7/50, then 7/140 odd but then fell short. Can't remember what the end score was.

Nothing wrong with the pitch rooboy covers were blown off over night causing an hour delay.

Terrible batting caused the loss not the pitch!!

The loss was due to Terrible batting.........couldn't be. Surely you can't blame it on one bloke.

No need for us to tamper with covers. We were very confident in defending 293 no matter what the conditions. The wicket wasnt bad, they r a very aggressive batting side so on there day they will make huge scores but yesterday wasnt there day.

Agree completely with Rowdy on this one. The wicket hardly got any of the bats out. If we batted the overs we would have won. We just played very poorly throughout the day and doveton put it in the right spots.

Buckley will bowl the poor old bloods out for under 180. It's a sorry sight to see the wheels fall off like this

super tips train how about doveton crush narre for only win off day as for wendell might off been 227 short big call

achsd, if you honestly thought my post was anything other than tongue in cheek, then you are even dumber than I (and everyone else on here) first thought. Idiot.

Have a crack about what? Berwick getting beaten? I don't understand.

And yes, we won on Saturday. I'm not sure what Pakenham/hills boys means though...

I was told yesterday that it was Devon Meadows using it. Apparently every other team plays on synthetic, just this one team plays on turf. A different setup, do they use a 2 piece on the turf?

I stand to be corrected, just what I was told.

I think it's possibly Devon Meadows.

Drove past there on Thursday the outfield looks very dry and patchy. Would've thought they may of had access to the racecourses water supply.
