Yes, but those couple of 5-fors he got were right after he played in the UK. We wre all a little shocked!!

What has he done in the last 18 months?

I'm not so sure, but he has been good in recent times in the Ford Ranger.. I just through his name up, cos he has done better than Krezja.. But hey he has probably done as much as England has done in the past 18mths - NOTHING..!

Come on Goochy, the Poms got dominated by Sth Africa, surely you think Australia is a better outfit than Sth Africa.. and they had no spinner either, well they had Harris - but he was sh!t

Dominated?

We lost 2-1, and in the other test we got South Africa to follow on. They also needed 280 odd to record one of their wins. It really could of gone either way. A bit like the Ashes series of 2006.

All in the past though, they deserved their win.

And I don't Australia are much better - if at all - than SA. Harris would probably get a game for Oz!

i rest my case. don't sprout until the innings has at least finished. 3 /138 overnight 8/215 at close which equates to 5/90 odd today...well bowled son. Shoiuld've played him earlier....

The rest my case bit was more after people judging him after a few overs of cricket.

Look he's in the record books for in debut getting 8 wkts in his first innings and the most expensive 8/215 which is just under 5 and over but i think a better way to look at his bowling was firstly when Sehwag took to him i think by memory he was around 0/70 .... but he had the metal to keep to his bowling plan and after that got 8/140 which is a pretty good turn around.

I am not saying he is our future....far from it.....i was just backing a kid on debut hoping he'll do well for his and his family sakes.

And you know he may end up on a carlton draught bottletop cause who knows with the aussie selectors as they may never play him again.
