Sunday November 23rd - Likely venues are Wachter and Noble Park, not sure which will host the final. Hallam and SSCC to play in seperate semi's VS probably East Sandy BC and Moorabbin Park.

I thought I heard the T1 winner and the Twenty20 winner would play in this comp the following year (with Springy Sth the exception for going so far last year).

Am I dreaming that or what.

Would make more sense to me to have our T20 champions play in a state wide T20 comp rather than the T2 premiers (nothing against Hallam).

Thoughts?

Winning it last year was great but apart from hosting the final and making some good coin out of it we really didn't get anything. 1st prize was a $500 Sportzworks voucher which we have attempted to use but the place has gone bankrupt and no longer honouring the voucher.

Thats not ideal LHO...............

I think we got a couple of hundred bucks which we used to buy a keg and drink losers piss for the 24 hours straight following the game.

Starting to think I'm glad we came second !

Choice was made by Regional Manager as to who is involved, don't think the DDCA had a say. Could be wrong.

I remember getting the call to come down from John Simpson at around 1 in the arvo on the Thurs. Boys sounded like it had been a solid session and showing no signs of finishing up at that stage.

Was probably only myself and John left at that stage. We called a few of your blokes to see if you would like to join us as most of ours had, had enough by that stage. Picked up again a bit later when everybody started rocking up for training..................
