You and Fridge come on here quoting stats all the time trying to convince us how good you are and Mr Cricket 2008 comes out with stats. And you whine like a cat.

When you were a kid at school and things didn't go your way did you say "its my bat and my ball and l'm going home". Like a little cry baby.

You got it wrong mate. Beaver is not a regular bowler. One of the lads didnt turn up so that allowed us to draft in gun player AB Moldrich. He is available for the rest of the season too which is great news for us.
Yeah, me and Tex took a pasting. I hold my hands up - I let the side down.
Great performance from the rest of the boys though and we nearly pulled off a marvelous win.

I find it quite amusing how quick everyone has jumped on me for 3 bad overs (my first only went for a single!). You've waited nearly 2 years for this moment I guess and BOOM! all of you are posting within minutes of it going on results vault. That means you must all check how I do week after week and week after week you have had nothing you could pick holes in! :)

I can't let you use those 3 overs to draw attention from a top effort from our team. Excellent batting and bowling performances from several players. Well done guys.

HSD look a great outfit though. The pro looked exceptionally talented.

So let me get it right. 3 overs 0/51.

And how did the Metho's Pro look? I'm sure Prince Mark can give us an unbiased opinion.

By regular I mean someone who bowls regular decent spells. Michael Clarke would bowl in most test matches but he is not a regular bowler.

This is a pontless argument. To call Beaver a regular bowler would be to call me a top order bat. We are both useful on our day and not much more.

That's good Goochie. Fantastic that you've come out here and paid for your flight, paid for your digs and paid all of your subs. Cause if you were their pro they would of covered them for you. Good on you, your such a great fella.

It doesn't come to much when you add it all up. And that also covers my role as assistant coach.

To think I play cricket for pennies is laughable. You know that anyway.

I know you guys hate to see me and Fridge having such fun out here but that's not my problem.
Even though you are such a tool, I would happily have a beer or 6 with you one night. You would soon realise I'm a good guy. I just have little tolerance for anonymous people like yourself.

That's true actually. Can't put it back like I used to.

Hey, even Goodsey is easing up now he's just 2 months from fatherhood. Round his house last night for the Boro game and all he had was one stubbie and a bottle of red. Pathetic!

Big series starts today!

Prince out, but I'm glad as I've wanted to see how Duminy does at Test level for some time. I REALLY like the look of him.

Looks like a good toss to win. All the talk is of Steyn but he didn't overly impress me in England last year. Be interesting to see how he does here.

I expect a similar series to ENG v SA earlier in the summer. 2-1 and could have gone either way.

nb - can someone delete the other thread? Stupid sh1tty board.

I think I'm going to claim some credit for the Duminy call.

What a player he will be.

Yes you did Gooch i can admit i knew nothing of him.

Question for anyone, how spot on do you reckon the speed gun is in these international games.
I mean Tait opens up with 152kph, 155kph, 150kph, 156kph and in his    2nd over were you think he might be warm and ready he just manages 147kph and even a 142kph.

Now the Aussies are making the call on Pupp in the morning, should Warner play regardless or should he be in the squad and put in the line to wait.
Last night he had way to much expectation on his shoulders i think he will be better for the exp, play him i reckon Marsh tho talented has alot of question marks on him.
