I love watching him on those old one dayers foxtel are showing. He carries on like a pork chop everytime he gets a wicket or takes a catch.

Goochy you grumpy old prick, maybe he has a sense of humour and thought he might get a giggle out of it....better than sticking with the same alias and talking about golf all bloody day.

And no, it's not me but I'm sure you already think it is.

He's a good dude Tuffers. I remember the time we shared a mind blowing spliff behind the members stand at the MCG after a hard days cricket years ago. Man that cat could party.

Come on Goochy man, take a chill pill and relax hey brother. I dig the way you express your opinions and you seem to be a free spirit. Don't be a hater man, it takes too much positive energy from your body man. Stay loose and let the good times roll you crazy cat.

At least we put up a good fight against them. AND against India.

Looks like its a play off this summer for the tag of 3rd best team in the world!

South Africa have outplayed the Aussies completely and thoroughly deserve it!

This day was always going to come and now that it has, the selectors need to think about blooding youngsters in with Ponting, Hussey, Clarke, Haddin, Johnson and Clark.

Siddle has had a taste (his bowling on Saturday was sensational), Krezja is ok, Hauritz did ok in this test i thought.

Hayden (omit) Symonds, Lee and Watson out (inj) So there should be 4 opportunities for the selectors to show some vision for the future in a dead rubber. I hope they don't let sentimentality get in the with Hayden, give him the boot now!

Completely outplayed and at times embarassing.

Our bowling which was once the benchmark for all international cricket lacked bite. And our batsman other than Ponting lacked discipline.Katich and Clarke performed okay but went out to poor shots. Johnson's 2nd dig made Hayden, Symond, Hussey look 2nd rate.

On a positive note....... how bad are NZ then as we beat them comfortably?

NZ are doing what we should be doing and blooding guys into the side. Flynn looked very handy, Ryder will be solid, Taylor is dangerous - but they're all raw and over time will get better.

We carry these 36+ years of age players like Hayden for too long. We need a ball breaker chairman of Selectors like Trevor Hohns was in his time - Hayden will be given a farewell, i'd be saying "sayonnara" now! give Hughes a 20 year old a go - AB devilliers is now 24 and experienced - he debuted at 20 as an opener. We can't wait for guys to be 32 before they get test match experience.

I am feeling for Michael Hussey at the moment, Aleem Dar should be omitted and sent back to Pakistan. But - the sooner they use technology in helping our umps, the better! I read somewhere it is being trialled in the Sth African tour for the aussies.

Dont drag us into this, we tried to give you much need confidence for the upcoming series with SA, didnt fcking help but we tried.
Maybe thats the answer Australia and NZ join as one, solves the spinner problem.

Take out Vettori's performances against Bangladesh then have a look at his test record. He is so overrated...

I tend to agree with Gooch, Vettori is a very good one day spinner but is just an ok Test spinner at best.
gooch lets talk over rated, England had the best thing happen to there cricket some months back. That was the departure of Michael Vaughan who is the most over rated cricketer to play the game, he may have a brilliant cricket brain but his cricket ability was ordinary.
And now there are reports KP will quit as Captain if Vaughan is not taken to the West Indies what a joke the selectors have this right.
I say to Vaughan, take your medicine and go and play county cricket and make a truck load of runs and earn a spot, No more time for free rides.

The guy has 18 Test Hundreds - often in testing English conditions.
Ok, he's not a world beater, but on his day he can certainly play like one.

I would have give one more series to be honest.
