He will come up against his U 21's skipper in the 1st game as his opposing captain so that will ease him into the role a little. Not like coming up against a competition legend like Craig, for example, 1st up.

Aussie goverment is knocking back sports visa's from now. It has affected 2 power house clubs, has any other clubs had problems with getting their pro out here?
Ok, found out a couple days ago and plenty people now know so shouldnt be an issue with me saying Parkfield and Nth Dandy have lost their 2 lankans. Huge lose for both clubs.

Ha ha that's better!
Stiff for those two clubs. Parkfield have such a good side it won't affect them. They'll just bring someone up from the two's who'll do just as good a job. Still raging hot flag favourites.

frees up a massive amount in ndcc's salary cap now if thats the case, could be somewhere in the order of $500 they were paying him. might have to put my hand out!
good bloke though, will be missed if its true, was coming out of his shell and imparting some good words of wisdom on the younger players.

Can confirm the truth of the rumour which appears to effect anyone coming in on a sports visa (mostly Sri Lankans). Still waiting for a few more details though.
Surely a club that was dissappointed on their outcome wouldn't then complain by lagging in to the immigration department the fact that there are a lot of "paid" players at other DDCA clubs coming from England!!! (Which would be illegal hence why its not done!)

If that has happened, that is very bad form, although I can't see it being the case though as everyone just plays for the love of the game and no money every exchanges hands!
