na i agree Ern, love the sunday matches to catch up with guys from around the league but 1 good player doesn't cut the mustard in T1

It just sounds like this is getting built up as a Carlton/Collingwood type match. Don't pin your hopes on any 1 person, there has been 50 as good as him and 50 better than him, he's nothing new at that level that's all. I think turf 1 is very strong and as good as a T2 side is, generally is it difficult for them to compete with the top sides.  Personally i think you guys will be middle of the road, but only after rnd 11 will we know and that's only my opinion.

Great idea Beaver....keep running with it because it would be a good spectacle. Cant wait to see the Bloods rivalry this season. Have you ever thought of a career in marketing. The idea of a Red Cross game against the 2 Bloods was genius.

ernie i think stocky stumper is taking the wee wee out of you. he is just playing down his team's chances as they are favourites.

I am also thinking the same Craig, but not quiet sure they are favorites they would be right up there but there is daylight between your boys and the rest of the comp.

just be careful how you use your sarcasm beaver. you're not even qualified to judge let alone chuck some banter in there with it.

Beaver I think your opinions are not only astute but also well received and importantly well respected.

Is it true you also shopped yourself around to Bon Beach CC pre season but the offer was $2K short of your asking price?

No sarcasm there Craig just my opinion.

Stocky not quiet right mate, Bon Beach is my old home club as i played juniors at there junior base and i grew up in Bonbeach.
I spoke to them both last year and the year before but never got to the stage of $$$$, as they have a Coach all ready in Shannon Groome who i know quiet well and i was after a C/C position. They tried to recruit me as just a player.

Maybe Slocs may be nervous about the pending clash and that's why he is testy.

Cut it out Beaver.....the cricket world is a small world. You can tell no lies.

Legit.....How many clubs did chase you over the winter?
