Here is another view matching mine. Even though Stocky's mob should be there but he is been modest.

My early Flag favourites are;

Springvale South (given) not far off daylight between the rest.
Mordialloc (solid recrutiment of strong base)
Berwick (Ton of class)
North Dandenong (Again on the back of Mapatuna)

with

Doveton, Hallam & Buckley vying for a top 4 finish.

Sorry but the rest just making up the numbers.

I guess what i am saying is from my limited knowledge of Turf 1, wether right or wrong i have a opinion on the topic at hand just like many others. I was not trying to be disrespectful to any other sides in Turf 1 because there are plenty of good sides.

Quiet simply you blokes made the GF last year, along with your recruiting of Alex and a few other good cricketers you have added to depth and there should be no reason why you can't go all the way. Once again right or wrong just my opinion.

Ernie, you have slaughtered slocs in this topic. Who does he think he is to question your knowledge on DDCA Turf one cricket? What a wanker. Pull your head in slocs.

Train like you and Slocs are qualified to comment on Afl matters, like me we are not but that does not stop us from having a opinion on the game be it right or wrong.

My call about Springy Sth been day light ahead may turn out to be wrong like your remark in the Saints won't make the top 4.

no sarcasm just your opinion? beaver how would you know anything about any team in turf1? making comments that we are daylight in front of the rest of the comp is degrading for the other teams don't you think? does that mean you are saying you can't win against us? you have no idea what banter between mates is do you? and no i'm not having a bad day, it's actually quite a good one.

i thought so.

Bobby,

You are kidding me mate, everyone is playing for 2nd behind you blokes. Nth dandy, Parkfield, Doveton, Berwick and Hallam will all be very strong again. Mordi will do well in their 1st yr up as well. I'm just glad I don't have to select the sides at SSCC on the Thursday night before the 1st game, 30 T1 players to chose from.

Good luck Craig.

Any chance Craig you wanna jump all over other people for saying the same crap as me. Perhaps LHO comments we can draw similarities between his remarks and mine in saying daylight between the rest.

as i said beaver you don't get the difference banter and opinion. probably the reason why you should wait til you played everyone so you can at least have half an idea of what you are on about. not everyone on here is as serious as you when they post. peckerhead.

Manchester United Vs Skunthorp United,

just because they are both united doesn't mean it would be a good game.

(Mods please fix this site I can not write S****horp United because it has c u n t in it).

Funniest home vids thought it was Ajuna Ranatunga with his round frame and pants around his rib cage.

i like the idea of the game....but not for the game itself. The banter directed at Beaver will be rivetting. But SSCC v Mordi the match would be like Geelong Vs Fremantle in the AFL.

Would of been nice to have this game moved to the next 2 Sundays, here there was a bumper crowd at Harold Rd today & with no Turf1 games on a Sunday this Round 3 might have been good to get down to for a Sunday sipper.

Spoke to our President and he said he is fine with the idea, Ray Nicholls said if both clubs agree then there is no troubles with it been played on a Sunday.

Beav, why are you so determined to play this game on a Sunday? Why do you want to play in front of a bumper crowd?

Why not Matty, good revenue for SSCC & good exposure for us mino's Mordialloc.
Everyone wants to play good cricket on good grounds infront of good crowds, would you be in attendance Matty if it was.

Good idea i think, the gravel car park and the wheels on your Datsun don't have a good record.
