Would of been nice to have this game moved to the next 2 Sundays, here there was a bumper crowd at Harold Rd today & with no Turf1 games on a Sunday this Round 3 might have been good to get down to for a Sunday sipper.
Spoke to our President and he said he is fine with the idea, Ray Nicholls said if both clubs agree then there is no troubles with it been played on a Sunday.

Don't know abt the bumper crowd Ernie. SSCC would have the standard 40 odd spectators.....how many would Mordi bring?

Mate we had a massive crowd against Buckley last week, i reckon we could have the standard 40 then add our players from the grades that play on Saturday would of pumped it up. Does not matter anyway mate.

How did Franks go on the weekend. What were your honest thoughts of him?
Good bloke to start with had a beer and hung back.
Now i have never been on a 24hr flight and played cricket 24hrs later but i assume it would be taxing. He bowled good areas but was not the quickest in the comp i honestly think there will be quicker. Batting he looked very correct but struggled on our wicket as most do, but he will make 400 min at this year given he plays at Buckley.
Goochy at the end of the game i would of said 70-100

rumour is a few of the greater dandenong wickets are in all sorts of strife at the moment....... too wet to put the covers down and more rain on the way......
Chappy has lost the mower and roller at Hallam. Wicket has not even been prepared and therefore the covers didn't go down. I would have thought after the Rd 1 problems lessons would have been learned, hopefully the DDCA ask for a please explain. Will definately play at Park Gooch it was a road last night and the covers went down before the rain, I will see you down there for a beer more than likely. If not the game will be decided on the toss of a coin..

That is a disgrace and no where near acceptible. Lost mower and roller???? Wtf! So people train for months, some sacrifice saturday wages and pay fees, organise their lives around saturday, tuesday and thursday because they dead set love the game and then miss out on one of only a handful of two day games because of a joke like that. Not good enough..........
