1st batsman hits a 3 and there is a shy at the stumps which misses and 4 overthrows = 7. Square leq umpire signals short run -1 = 6. Other batsman on strike he hits a 6 1st ball. 2 balls 12 runs both bats on 6

Stayed tuned, will be hitting the teen's in a couple of weeks
My prediction for round 1, Is that Doveton will win Outright by tea on day 2
I would like to take this opportunity to put a few things "on the record".
Last year Doveton made 293 against us on the first day.
Our captain received an unnecessary text at 8am from a Doves player saying"the covers are down" WTF?
Narre attended the ground to find the covers had obviously been pulled up by "The wind or local hoodlums"
Every other club uses tent pegs, for their covers, but the Doves use pegs that could only be lifted by ten men.............
Several DDCA execs attended the game. I showed them the calibre of pegs the Doves use, we all agreed the "local hoodlums must have been to blame..........."
Hopefully the pitch will play true for the second half of this game !
