You would think the coach of a turf 1 club wouldn't need to ask that question on a public forum

Hey Beav I'm not taking the p*ss but were Nth Dandy too good or did your boys bat poorly?

I think Nth Dandy bowled superbly very tight they bowled & thoroughly deserved the victory as they out played us.
We didn't bat poorly imo we just didn't have luck go our way, now i am not saying this to take the gloss off Nth Dandy because as i said they deserved the 6pts. We just seemed to edge everything and i am not talking big knick just little tickles to the keeper.
Our opening bat was unlucky smashing one it to the gut of bat pad & a few Lbw decisions that could of gone anyway.

But we can't worry about it to much i think we can take some positives out of the 2nd innings dig rattling up 0-74 which was a better indication of what we can do rather then our 1st innings display.

Ernie, how can you say you didn't bat poorly when you get bowled out for 80 odd? Now, i know you'll think im just saying this to winde you up but its not the case. That is a ridiculous statement man. If you genuinely believe you didn't bat that poorly going all out for 80, then you are admitting to being totally outclassed and that you blokes aren't up to it at this level. You then go on to say that they "weren't even big knicks, just little tickles to the keeper". Surely thicker edges would mean that your batsman are closer to finding the middle of the bat rather than the little tickles....the smaller the edge, the closer you are to missing the ball, and that's not unlucky batting. And then for you to try claim some pride out of the second innings well fark me....

absolutely they were lucky to win, without carman in the team I dont think anyone picked north dandy to win a game nor make more than about 50 each week!

the club was already trying to work out how they would get back into t1 after next season.
