Personally I would like to see a game on it, but I would prefer to play on a dodgey rather than not play at all.
Who knows though, it could come up and probably will, just might not look the greatest.
I gather you don't open the batting Harry?
As of tomorrow I will be, so maybe I should retract my statement! I do stick with it though, I just prefer to play, if it's bad enough I might get to bat twice in the one day!

Harry very impressed with the wicket today considering the shape it was in on Friday when i had a look, by the way great spread by the lady in the canteen today. She works in the tirelessly all day making that it was fantastic.

not the batsmens fault woof... be interesting to know how many catches actually got dropped in the ddcaon a saturday. i'll start it off by guessing 300.

not blaming the batsmen slocs, just saying it doesn't help when you drop a guy with 2 of sitters before he is on ten and he goes on to make 91, if we had of held one of them and the other 10 we dropped they would have been lucky to make 170 and the skippers decision to bowl wouldn't have been a bad one

I agree with you on the dropped catches Woofa, there were a couple of sodas........
I don't think the pitch was to blame for any of those shots though, as most of the sitters were skyed balls etc. Maybe the only one might have been the one I knicked between keeper and slip.
Surely you would agree the deck played alot better than it looked.
I think saying we'd have been lucky to get 170 is a bit harsh, still had some batting to come, probably 200 with held catches I reckon.
Should be a good game I think next week. Our bowling is a bit light on at the moment, and with another week of work on the deck it should play really well next week.
