Can't believe Turf is already called off!

What happened to the good old days when it didn't rain.

I was being sarcastic more than anything, there was no way we were going to play this week, especially when I got to the ground last night and there was surface water all over it! Synthetic would have been washed out had it been a saturday.

yeah country week. Last year I played in 4 out of 5 games on country week and one lead up game. This year there are 3 or 4 regional games in the lead up and then there's the 20/20 against you blokes. So potentially could still play 9 or 10 games on turf if selected and/or available for all of them. Add that to our league 20/20 comp and 14 club games, it's a hell of a lot of cricket for one summer!

Im starting to think fridge is still employed by Berwick to throw games.

If his 70 didnt take 280 balls springvale south probably would have won

Fridge made 70 odd not out, well done Fridge great knock.
Thanks for the info Hoff i didn't know he did so well, puzzled how he batted 280 balls when 40 overs x 6 is 240 for the entire innings?
