He got a couple, maybe 15-20? Bowled ok. Cracked the poops once we got ahead of them though and wasted plenty of time setting fields waiting for darkness to come. Was pretty cranky after the game too, we tried to offer him a beer, and he refused bluntly.

Yes, NDCC must have missed me, after I had to pull out with a stuffed thumb!

The ground is sensational at the moment, still to get a little better once the few weeds in it die off. If we can get the pitch right, will be close to the best ground in the comp. Just hope our bottom ground, which is being redone too comes up as well as the top one.

Harry my 1st game of cricket ever as a junior was at that bottom ground. By memory there was not hardly a blade of grass on it. A dirt bowl........pretty much as it is now. Players today are soft.

due to the ground being redone, it will (hopefully) be like carpet come this time next year. unless all the migrants / refugees get on and destroy it like they have the soccer ground before it is ready

Bit harsh on Beav there ASB, he was the last to leave...............

Must have been a cracking game at Park. Sav was seriously one of the best players I ever saw in this comp. Fond memories of watching him hit one at Park over the nets and into the creek. It stopped rolling down under the blue walk bridge miles away. He also hit one into the houses at Hallam to win the Turf 2 GF for FGate against Buckley. Great to see him back.
