Had to be seen to be believed, plumb LBW threw his bat told poor old Niel Ardridge that he was just as shyt at umpiring cricket as he was at footy. Had to be restrained by his team mates. Looked something like AB in this shot.

Sobers I agree 100%. The funiest bit was when Ringo lashed out at Neil and Neil said (Who was only defending himself) Son it was a full toss. I heard you played district cricket for Dandy. You should of whacked it for 6!!

Very disappointing to hear that the Police were hanging around certain clubs tonight looking for P plate drivers that were over the limit. Bad form for anybody that did that.

Ease up you lads, Ringo is a good kid. The dummy spit stuff is very funny but take the hand brake off on the drink driving banter.
Hardly think moving the car out of the car park onto Harold Rd so it does not get locked as a funny opportunity to get stuck into him.

Thanks for starting this thread Sobers.. stayed true to your word haha.

Yeah certainly didn't drink drive home that'd just be silly and would get me a good clip around the ears. Old man texted me saying bring car out onto Harold Rd.. I'll pick ya up from there. Jog up the next morning in the wet to get it did me the world of good.

As for the lbw.. I think SS saying it was "the worst decision I've ever seen" says enough. We've all copped bad ones but this was a Neil Ardridge special. Middled a length ball onto my pad.. from outside off.. bowler and keeper half went up and Neil stuck his finger up.

Don't think I threw the bat as such PM just dropped it in disgust.. no force behind it. Did have a few choice words for Neil in the heat of the moment, not warranted in retrospect but I apologised post game. At least it gave everyone something to have a chuckle about post game.. everyone bar myself.
