Rules are rules but I feel clubs should have flexibility to put covers down when required. After all a game off cricket is all we want on a saturday!

If berwick broke the rules so be it. they should be punished like any other club. ask prince, he has an opinion on the ddca handing out rightfil punishments.

Next they will finally catch them braking the cap

Plain and simple mate the covers were down this afternoon and they were taken off after 5.10pm tonight when the President of Berwick was contacted by the DDCA and asked to remove them.

Is that a fact SIR?

I have no motive but if you blokes want toFlagrantly break the rules as stated by the DDCA then in my book that is cheating!

Would the covers have been down if you were bowling?

This is not the point anyone's arguing Philbo. What we want to know, is what were representatives of the Buckley C.C doing at Arch Brown on a Thursday afternoon? And then what were they doing running off to the DDCA? It's pathetic pal!

By the way, i didn't leave the DDCA coz i wasn't up to Turf standard anymore, i left coz i wanted a challenge. I was sick of being involved in turf premierships. Thought i might go try win a synthetic one as a coach instead. What about you? Played in many flags mate?

Interesting to see the covers are down at arch brown today considering the DDCA's policy on covers. Will be an interesting case for the DDCA considering the numerous emails that have been sent out on the matter in recent weeks regarding the loss of points.confuse Could Berwick be the first club to lose points?

Ive been away since Tuesday and  am disturbed by this development

We will have an internal enquiry immediatly

Whats the DDCA policy on turf club,s Canteens and change rooms???????

Get a life philbo, if we all went around dobbing in every club for breaking rules there wouldnt be a comp, but maybe it was in your up bringing to squeal like a little girl, just like your supporters and captain. Do you actual know why the covers went down? And why would you contact the ddca?

Btw arch brown looked like a road tonight.

Gypsy, not that i'm agreeing with you but clubs have been "doctoring" pitches to suit themselves for years. The only way you would ever get absolutely positively fair is if the same curator looks after every club in the comp. Get over it you lot, especially those who don't know any of the circumstances. They'll play tomorrow and the winner will be decided by who makes the most runs as always.

Berwick putting down covers just before the rain sounds like cheating to me, if the club just sits there and takes this, we are weak pricks.disbeliefdisbelief

and had this sent also...
