I heard that Moose was there om Thursday morning about 10:30am. So just to put in context, the DDCA wants more cricket played so what's wrong with sides covering pitches ala Premier cricket from as early as possible to ensure games get the best chance of occurring. Insuirance and damage to covers????

Don't worry about my mate Moose he does not get alot right, he likes to pick sides on winning form but makes the odd exception when it is a club he does not like. all i have to say is "Moose you where wrong"

Now i have curved my ways and my behavior of late...........but i am now saying to all in sundry on here stay tuned to when Mordi visits the airways on casey radion 97.7FM on the 19th of this month.
For the whole entirety of this season Mordi has been given no chance of victory on this show and not rated at all and i have also been mocked endlessly?
I have had enough of the ridicule and this morning was the last straw i intend to speak my mind in a no limit radio session when we go to air.
To the blokes that run this show and read this forum prepare............answers my questions.............and take what is coming to you blokes it is well over due.

Pity we didn't hear any of this bravado on radio yesterday when you were sitting across the desk from him.   Stay tuned  to what.  you promised big things and I'm still waiting on the delivery.

After all the chat on here over the last few days I would like to thank the lads at Berwick for a cracking day yesterday. Good bunch of lads who play the game in the right spirit and the arvo tea was an absolute beauty. My understanding in relation to the covers issue is that it will be discussed at a DDCA meeting on Wednesday at which time they will decide as to an appropriate penalty if any..

I expect nothing less on here, i don't come on here for kisses and cuddles from people.

But at the end of the day i was happy how the radio went, I openly backed us to win and i was very confient of that (and we did) i also gave our Pom a deserevedly wrap up for how good he has been and he comes out and takes 8-31......could not have happened to a better bloke.

For those who are wondering who i am talking about..have a look at this link.

A few people on here make valid points, no need to make it personal Train and start potting my club mate and its members. The rules are very clear and whether they are right is not the issue here, the issue is that the Bears or representatives of same made a concious decision to breach the rules put in place by the DDCA and put their covers down in contravention of the stated rules. We all know the DDCA won't do anything about it but it certainly creates a precedent where teams batting on the 2nd week and there is rain around will simply put the covers down. I doubt that they would have been down on Thursday if we were batting this week chasing 125.

You are spot on with everything there Lefty. I really just wanted to get stuck in to Philbo as i assumed he was the bloke there taking photo's at Berwick's ground at 5pm on a Thursday. I don't agree with dobbing on clubs. The attitude should've been (and probably was), that you will defend those runs in any conditions, which you did.

Let the DDCA go around the grounds and check if clubs are breaking the rules, which i believe happened anyway. (I do believe there were extenuating circumstances as to why the covers were put down, but that's not for me to discuss.)

None of this would be an issue if the ruling was better regarding covers, hopefully the DDCA fix it up shortly.

Lefty, i have no issue with your club and never have, as you would probably know i like stirring the pot a bit, so i apologise if i went a bit over the top. In saying that, Philbo does seem a bit of a c0ckhead though...

No dramas Train, hopefully as a result of this the DDCA will adopt similar provisions in relation to covers as Premier cricket and a positive result will come of it for all Turf players.

"That bloke" you are a farkbag..
