The lawn bowlers with walking frames ducking for cover at Keysy.

Umpire with a walking cane being kicked out from under him by the bowler in his bowling stride and the umpire calling dead ball as he fell sideways to the ground

A ball got hit into a nearby tennis court for 6. Our fielder stressfully spent 5 minutes trying to open the tennis court door/gate with no joy. After 5 minutes of this and everyone shouting at him to hurry up, he climbed up the gate to get over. As he reached the top the gate swung open with him swinging round in comedy fashion.

Maybe you had to be there but the whole ground including about 100+ supporters were crying with laughter.

Or there was this video from a game a LONG time back (I have hair!). He had downed 8 pints and a bottle of vodka after our game was rained off. He doesnt remember a thing. The bar was full including all our old-dear tea ladies. Love the bit 1:15 in...

Yeah the poor bloke is struggling at the moment, cant buy a run. Needs to get to training and have a good hit in the nets. Made 42 in the T20 a few weeks back and i thought that might be the kick start that he needs. Was lucky not to get a duck there as well. He's a bloody good keeper though and doing a great job behind the stumps.

Anyone suprised that chappy's story just happens to be about him getting a wicket?

I missed that I think I may have been in a hurry to get the pads on, I did think it was funny when you had to stop your run up because our fave umpire was having a chat to Sess.

Usually it's a batsmen pulling away as the fielders are talking. But an Umpire who should be concentrating on the game and where the front foot lands and where the ball pitches and so on. Yeah i can see the funny side of that. Maybe New Arrival could let us in on there conversation. They may have been in a deep and meaningful discussion about the winner of Australian Idol.

Dissapointing Plumb you were no more than 10 metres away. Maybe it wasn't funny. Maybe it was only slightly amusing. Maybe you could tell us all about the sixes that got smashed off your bowling yesterday. Each 6 just went further and further than the last one. I stopped counting after 4. But what a way to greet a new batsmen at the crease a lovely full toss. You went a little sheepish after the last one

A few Mordi lads told me one day last year one of the young lads whilst sporting a broken leg or ankle (something in a cast) on crutches streaked fully starkers across the ground limping all the way............it was a bet he made earlier in the day when trav was on about 90........he said "if Trav makes 200 today i will streak" of course number 1 made it and the lad streaked giving Trav a high five on one crutch in the nude as he crossed the wicket were Trav swung his bat around and smaked him on the backside.

By all reports it was 'GOLD' even the umpires were in tears.

Didn't think i was that hard Woofa.........The streaker had 1 crutch on the same side as the injured leg......he was running on his good leg and using the crutch to protect his inj leg thus allowing a free hand to high 5 Trav with.
