Which prominent T1 bat and forum member smashed a half century in the Veterans game on the weekend?

By all reports it was a fine innings but gave a chance. Reportedly a triple bouncer actually hit the stumps but the bails didnt fall.

Also a rumour that this player actually played in the old school "school shirt" style playing shirt with the full button up front?

Can this be confirmed?
