Bumped into a prominent DDCA figure today and the whisper goes that one Paul Franks has pulled out of the rep side due to the fact he was not named Captain and should of been........?

Has anyone heard the same whisper?

Are You serious Beaver, I think you have had one to many drinks at the Edgy. Paul is available for all DDCA games and will pay against Benella. You don't even know the bloke and you come on here and talk absolute crap.

Hasn't he already gone back to England anyway?

Well thats great to hear Philbo.........i have spoken to Franksie a few times and he is a ripping bloke who i could not say a bad word about. The person who told me this was obviously taking the piss, i will deal with him next time i see him. thanks for your reply Philbo.

Good squad announced for the match against Benalla on Sunday 17th January -

Paul Evans & Brad Francis (Berwick), Paul Franks (Buckley Ridges), Rob Johnston (Coomoora), Ryan Hendy & Matt Hutchinson (Doveton), Nick Cox (Hallam KP), Travis Campbell & Andrew Taylor (Mordialloc), Scott Neeson (North Dandenong), Mark Butters (Parkfield) and Craig Slocombe - Captain (Springvale South).

Bus will leave DDCA Headquarters, Pultney Street, Dandenong at 6.45am (48 seats so room for some supporters to accompany players & families and officials).

40 overs match starting around 11.00am at Benalla Gardens Oval, Wedge Street, Benalla.

Good luck to the boys (especially on the bus trip home!)
