Goochy you harped on my lack of cricket knowledge on certain issues which is ok..........but you timing to start this topic the very same day Ponting comes out and makes a 100 is ironic and amusing to say the least.

Woah woah woah....I never for one minute said I thought he shouldn't be in. I never said he should be moved down the order - you did! I saw a stat on the TV and thought it would make a great topic.

FWIW I'm a huge fan of Ponting....I'm even warming to him as a bloke a little (I used to think he was a complete tossbag but he won me around a bit when we won the Ashes back again).

I'm a complete neutral watching this series. Just want to see the best cricketers playing well.

I'll respectfully tell you why beav...

The reason i did not say I agreed with you, was partly because as Goochy said i do skip across a lot of your comments and don't take much notice such as this occasion. In other words as soon as I see that avatar of you dressed up like a goose, i'll keep scrolling down.

Secondly, I was actually agreeing with myself if anything, as i have stated numerous times that on this board and others, that I would like to see him drop down to number 6. If your opinion happens to coincide with mine than so be it. It certainly does not mean that i have to state that i agree with you.
