I don't mind Gtrain not the first bloke to slag me on the forum and wont be the last.....but the majority seem to have a Beer with me at some stage and i get along with them like a house on fire. I know that and most on here who have met me know that aswell, just another flog looking for a aggresive reaction from me but i am content with the situation. biggrin

I'd apply Bubba but last time I was at hampton Park club rooms I leant on the wall and the Graffitti was still wet, ruined a good set of whites.

our kids have to keep themselves entertained somehow sobers, they can only pinch so many set of tyres and car radios.

MICK.......time to knock this on the head, your club knows all about the DWCC situtaion. i believe your Coach from what i hear has done the relative homework and investigative work and is waiting for finals time to go through the appropriate channels........tell him if he has any info not to wait until then and get it on the table and if he is wrong then what will come of it will be?

highpants is on the money for once here. cikunte has known for a while now that dandy west have broke the rules and is waiting to drop the bomb at time that will send dandy west into fits. they may get relegated if he chooses to do it after the last game.

 My text message was not at all abusive! it may have been obscene; but certainly not abusive.

I love the way the way the league bullies the little struggling clubs. 4 matches on, and still no reply from the league to set another hearing. Then they have the balls to go to the local media on an open matter before contacting our club! theyve dragged this out way too long and dont respect our club at all! a mistake was made but im sure that chappy guys mistake was 100 times worse, but because he plays for one of the bigger clubs he gets let off... DOUBLE STANDARDS

ease up on the media bit pal. the league doesn't ring the leader and say ..... maybe the leader finds their own stories and prints them as a normal paper would do. maybe it shouldn't have happened in the first place.

A leading DDCA offical was quoted in the article slocs. Our club elected not comment so not to inflame the situation. Our club dealt with it internally and the 2 players were suspended, which I might say the person who copped these stupid messages was happy with.

I don't think a guy who volunteers his time and effort to make our comp better really deserves to recieve obscene text messages, the two people involved were asked to front up and they didn't bother turning up and then they expect the rules and permits people to just drop everything for their hearing?

Yeh, you're right; they shouldnt have to give up there time for some pointless hearing, The matter was already resolved and i dont think it should be deemed cricket related.. it was a simple act of drunken stupidity that wasnt and isnt going to happen again. i phoned him and made a sincere apology.  Myself and the message recipient came to an agreement  on a fair punishment that i would miss the 2 day game that followed. i served my time for my crime and the matter should have been a thing of the past.
i cant understand why they would need to create a tribunal that is wasting everyones time after id already served my punishment, or didnt they think the punishment was satisfactory?no.gif
