not sure if you would you be talkin about lyndale slocs, but have noticed they have added a few players after the xmas break including a player from auravales 1s, that played every round for them (auravale) until the break who took 7-51 last week against a top 4 opponent, and another that did play for west bentleighs 1s before xmas.

Blokes playing under a dodgy name would happen fairly often in the lower grades I imagine. If they just hackers helping to fill numbers i reckon it's ok but it's pretty ordinary if your playing quality players under dodgy names just to win a game of F grade cricket.

Are you fair dinkum?

Does not matter how good the cricketer is, rules are rules.

It is us Gremlin your correct.. I don't know the full story but I think we played said player in F grade who'd applied for a clearance some days before - but it had not come through yet. I know it's wrong but that player had every intention of playing the rest of the year with us - not just that one game.

Pottsy Webber was from Happy Days buffoon! I think he had a secret crush on Cupcake (Chachi Arcola wasn't happy) untill Leather Tuskerdero's cousin Pinky Tuskededero skiped into town.

Well it might be the end of the story about the ring in, but from what happened yesterday Lyndale's F grade side is a deadset disgrace. Obviously it will got to the tribunal & i hope the truth comes out.

Players being abused whilst fielding on the boundary, physically threatened, players wifes being slagged at, umpires facing a tirade of abuse from the 1st ball. Worst day of cricket i have had to endure & we were all glad that our Captain pulled the pin as it could have got out of control. Pity that Lyndale had 4-5 Jnrs in thier side who witnessed it all & in some case were active componentsof the abuse.

Yep.

Our F grade side is full of blokes over 45 who have played cricket for more than 30 years & we have never witnessed anything like it. I thought playing Doveton can be bad sometimes but these blokes made Doveton look like choir boys. It could have got out of control but we think we made the right decision by walking away.

To be fair it was incited by one player, but 2-3 joined in & encouraged by thier suspended captain on the sideline. Disgraceful.
